LAA Scrutiny Panel

The Local Area Agreement Joint Scrutiny Panel is made up of local councillors representing all of the County, District and Borough Councils across Suffolk, and Independent Community members, who are recruited to represent the rich diversity of Suffolk and its communities. Working together with council officers and partners, they review and scrutinise the performance of the Suffolk Strategic Partnership, including the boards and partnerships which are responsible for the delivery of the Local Area Agreement against the agreed outcomes and targets, and the delivery of Suffolk's Community Strategy "Transforming Suffolk".

From their findings the Panel makes reports or evidence based recommendations to the Suffolk Strategic Partnership Board and the Performance Management Group, to help improve performance, make processes more effective and add value to the work of the SSP.
